Interior Design Partner

Hendley & Co is a design company built on the belief that a home is a living portrait of its occupant, and may one day serve as a generational baton.

When a home is perceived through the lens of a modern historian, a greater value is applied to inhabited rooms, restful furnishings, and curated objects that provide delight every day.

“Our family recently worked with Hendley & Co on a complete interior gut renovation of our newly purchased home. There was not a room left untouched in our home, and Hendley & Co executed what has been a complicated project flawlessly. We absolutely love the end results and design.

We have worked with designers in the past, and no one can compare to Hendley & Co in creativity, professionalism, execution, proficiency and general customer service.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Hendley & Co when renovating & updating our kitchen and bathroom. Jessica [and her team] were delightful to work with.

They are warm, responsive, thoughtful in their suggestions, considerate of budgetary concerns, and a truly wonderful resource for all aspects of the renovation/design process.”

“Hendley & Co is more than collaborative; they always had an ability to meet us where we were throughout our project.

They showed us patience as we worked through our construction contract, they were always two chess moves ahead, especially when stepping in and making decisions when our son was born so that we could be fully present in that moment. They knew when to be supportive and reassuring, and when to push us outside of our comfort zones.

In my personal and professional lives, I’ve never worked with a team that has flexed with grace the way Hendley & Co has. Their range and depth are tremendous.”

The Founder of Hendley & Co

Jessica Lynn Williams is the daughter of a contractor and a baker, two early-rising and hard-working parents. Honing her keen eye from a young age, Jessica observed in youth what commitment to one’s craft looks like. And it was her colorful childhood home that stimulated her passion for vibrant palettes.

Jessica attended Maryland Institute College of Art with the intention to become a graphic designer. Between semesters, it would be her fateful role assisting the design teams of Jonathan Adler that exposed her to the world of interior design. A critical turning point.

Pursuing her newfound passion for interior design, Jessica worked for such industry leaders as Nate Berkus and Julia Buckingham. Later, as the Global Visual Merchandising Coordinator at Kate Spade HQ, she observed the potential for wide-reaching scale that comes with sourcing and design for a commercial fashion brand.

Concentrated on her potential in the interiors industry, Jessica returned to academia and a rigorous interior design curriculum at Parsons The New School. Immediately following, Jessica began her private practice in Brooklyn, and after ten years of dynamic projects across the country, Hendley & Co is just getting started.

Jessica believes a healthy local culture requires participation by new and native community members, support for independent businesses, and the welfare of animals.

She is the interim President of the Newburgh Preservation Association, and an active contributor to the Kingston Design Connection, the committee responsible for the annual Kingston Design Showhouse and surrounding events.
